Los Angeles Film Awards September 2019
We Are Visible made it into the official selection of the LA Film Awards and was then chosen as one of the 60 best films for the semifinals. And in the end, it even won an honorable mention in the category “Film (Feature) Student.”
Festigious Film Awards September 2019
We Are Visible made it into the official selection of the Festigious Awards and was then chosen as one of the 40 best films for the semifinals. And in the end, it even won an honorable mention in the category “Film (Feature) Student.”
New York Film Awards September 2019
We Are Visible made it into the official selection of the New York Film Awards and won an award as best student film.
Oniros Film Awards October 2019
We Are Visible made it into the finals of the Oniros Film Awards and won an honorable mention for its main theme.
Florence Film Awards October 2019
We Are Visible made it into the finals of the Florence Film Awards and won an honorable mention in the category Best Feature Documentary.
European Cinematography Awards (ECA) October 2019
‘We Are Visible’ gets into the semifinals of the ECA in October.
Druk International Film Festival November 2019
We Are Visible made it into the finals of Druk International Film Festival and won two outstanding achievement awards in the categories best student film and disability issue.
Tagore International Film Festival November 2019
We Are Visible made it into the finals of Tagore International Film Festival and won an award in the category disability issue.
Anaheim International Film Festival November 2019
We Are Visible made it into the semi-finals of Anaheim International Film Festival.
Accolade Film Competition November 2019
We Are Visible won an award of merit for its original score and five awards of recognition in the categories Disability Issues (Student), Health / Medicine / Science (Student), Documentary Feature (Student), Women Filmmakers (Student), Contemporary Issues / Awareness Raising (Student) at Accolade Film Competition.

What a beautiful and touching documentary! Thank you for allowing yourself to be vulnerable in order to share the perspectives of many individuals who have EDS. Thank you for doing such a wonderful job of allowing us to see inside and feel some of what it feels like living with this invisible disease. I am a nurse, and getting to peek inside the emotional journey allows me to be a better nurse. In addition, after a more than 20 year journey my extended family finally has our first Vascular EDS diagnosis. Finally! It’s scary, and it’s a relief! And, I just want you to know your story is helping me as I and my family learn to understand and cope with EDS. Thank you. You should be very proud of this documentary.
